Its been a pretty stressful week. I am entered in this speech day thing on saturday, and Im not really prepared. And my speech is about toilets… how embarrising….
I’ve been thinking I really need to take better care of my body. lately I’ve been skipping breaky, and I know thats a really bad thing, but Ive just been so tired, its been so very hard to get out of bed. So im resolving to be better to myself, since I only have one body. (mind you, with all the walking Ive been doing, my legs are pretty sexy at the moment 
)
so looking after myself comes first. so, that means regular healthy meals, plenty of sleep (in bed by 10…..) exercise and do my homework as early as possible (since thats the cause of my stress, it counts).
Been trying to stick to this today, but I got to bed late last night (because of homework…..), so I slept in. Had a good lunch, but then fell asleep for a few hours. Almost got my homework done, just another half an hour. Going to take my bath shortly. So should be in bed on time. wether I will fall asleep is questionable….. shouldnt have had that nap. but mixed efforts are better than none.
well, better clean the self.
Im not sure if i posted a thing saying that my hotmail was on the brink, but i finally got it working today!!!!! I am sooooo veryyyyyy happpppyyyyyyy!!!!!!! lalalala
well, sunday. finally went to see Howls moving castle, and I am so glad i did!!! I really enjoyed it – great story (even though it probably deviates from the book a fair bit, I dont really know…) For those of you out of the loop, Howls moving castle is the latest Miyazaki movie – you know the guy that made Spirited Away? anyway, it was long but I didnt really notice, and it really lived up to his name (I think you will like it Laura and Tim 
I know you like Miyazaki too) Its going to be released in America this june or july in english (ugh) so hopefully not too long till it comes to australia. Although I dont know if I will watch it in english…. something not right about that…. the disney website is here – http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/castle/
And after that I went to the Tomizawa Site muesum, which has an excavation of some trees from about 20,000 years ago. It was intresting, but the thing that makes it really unique, is that they have the excavation, and then the grounds around are modeled on what the area would have looked like – you know, trees and all. It was an intresting way to spend the afternoon. they`re website is here – http://www.city.sendai.jp/kyouiku/chiteinomori/ if you are intrested. they have a section in the muesum where you have to guess what the objects from the site are. One of them was deer poop… it hasnt changed in 20,000 years….. (and I guessed it correctly!!! yatta!)
Um apart from that I got hit on by a strange japanese boy who couldnt speak english, but thought he could…. (takes a lot to confuse me, but he managed.) thankfully I managed to get rid of him. following the pretty gaijin into a movie is rather expensive if you just want a date…. hehe

i cant believe it. not 10 seconds after making that post we had a small earthquake!!! how cool – storm and quake!!!! yatta!
woot – lightning!!!! I love lightning!!! But i tell you what, the thunder is really strange sounding here in japan – it doesnt roll. oh sure the noise continues, but it isnt a smooth rolling. really weird. and its not these big electrical bischarges either. its mainly small strike, and most are contained within the clouds. storms are so cool!
just a small note – something is wrong with my hotmail, so I cant even log in for the next few days it appears. hopefully will be fixed soon. hopefully…. in the meantime – guardian_forever@yahoo.com is my alternate.

i cant believe it… they are really really gone. I woke up one morning and I couldnt find them anywhere!!!
(im talking about my earplugs……) its a slight problem… I know I sometime move things around in my sleep, and I know earplugs just fall out sometimes, but I swear, i took both out and put them somewhere while I was sleeping.. grrrrr….
luckily mum is sending me some new ones, should arrive this week…. until then, tired shele….
dont you just hate it when it rains and you forgot your umbrella…. and are in just a skirt and sandels….. grrrr. there was no way I was walking home in the rain, so I bought another overpriced umbrella at the uni-suupa…. thats the third umbrella I’ve brought here… man I could just kick myself sometimes… never thought it would rain so much here. and we conplain about the weather in brissy……
have completed all my homework today, so its going to be an easy evening. will catch up on some email, but dont keep your fingers crossed – family comes first of course!
soups with noodles are doable at uni, and rice noodles at that, so i might try that for the next week. need to work on my unhealthy snacking thou. and should probably go for a walk, but, well, it rained today.
speaking of food, Im hungry… might go eat dinner.
