Mum broke her wrist.  And Im having a pretty hard time dealing with it.  In fact, Im not sure its even hit me yet.  You see, they are still up in Darwin, and with mum having to go into theatre to get it reset, they wont be back home til monday evening, so I’ll see them on tuesday morning.

I think it will really hit when I see her with the cast on.  And the reasons why its hard to deal with, well, you know how some people in your life are like superman, you expect them to live forever and be invincible – well, mum is one of them to me.  Dad too I guess, and Grandma and Papa.  So I just cant imagine mum being sick other than a cold.

And another reason, this means Im going to have to do a lot more work around the house.  And that might even include cooking….  yeah, not a great thing.

Im worried, and I just want them to be home.
